SUPPORT RELATIONSHIPS :
Works cooperatively with staff members to develop and implement effective educational programs and to deliver appropriate services to students.
POSITION SUMMARY :
Assists the building administrator and teacher in the supervision of students and general building duties.
INSTRUCTIONAL ASSISTANT (GENERAL)DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES :

- An Instructional Assistant (Library Learning Center) assists in the operation of the library media center to provide effective use of library media for teaching and learning.
- Assists students and staff with locating and using library.
- Maintains records and compiles statistics for enhancing circulation and annual reports
- Schedules use and maintains inventory of materials and equipment.
- Operates a microcomputer utilizing software used for word processing, desktop publishing and database management.
- Circulates print and non-print materials.
