The Columbus Clingstones 2025 Internship Program provides hands-on learning for aspiring sports professionals. Interns will gain real-world experience, engage with industry leaders, and build valuable skills through a comprehensive, team-based internship environment.
The Columbus Clingstones 2025 Internship Program provides hands-on learning for aspiring sports professionals. Interns will gain real-world experience, engage with industry leaders, and build valuable skills through a comprehensive, team-based internship environment.
Each intern will be assigned a focus area, with opportunities for collaboration across departments. Stadium Operations Interns will play a vital role in maintaining ballpark readiness and ensuring a top-tier fan experience during all home games and events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily facility preparations and ballpark setup for games and special events
- Support maintenance of stadium cleanliness, organization, and safety throughout the season
- Help coordinate deliveries, equipment movement, and storage logistics
- Monitor and report facility issues to stadium operations leadership
- Provide on-the-ground support for operational needs during games (e.g., crowd flow, signage, lighting, restrooms)
- Assist in coordination with cleaning crews, security teams, and third-party vendors
- Shadow stadium leadership to gain insight into facilities management, event logistics, and operations planning
- Support emergency action plans and help ensure compliance with safety protocols
- Take part in post-game breakdowns and reset processes
Qualifications:
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program (Sports Management, Facility Management, Business, Hospitality, or a related field preferred)
- Strong interest in stadium or event operations
- Ability to work long hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physically able to lift 25–50 lbs and perform hands-on tasks
- Detail-oriented with strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable working in a team environment and responding quickly to dynamic game-day needs
