What are the responsibilities and job description for the DELMAR WAREHOUSE LOADER DAYSHIFT position at Columbus Distributing Company?
The Delmar Distributing Company is a family-owned sales and service corporation distributing Anheuser-Busch, Yuengling, craft, and imported beers in four counties in Ohio- Delaware, Marion, Union, and Morrow.
- Ensure the product is picked and loaded according to code dates.
- Load beer delivery trucks.
- Build pallets of beer.
- Pick and pull orders utilizing our technology with an RF gun.
- Handle products appropriately to avoid breakage.
- Load delivery trucks in the correct sequence to avoid delays in delivery routes.
- Support the cleanliness and organization of the work area and surrounding warehouse.
- Be able to work Monday- Friday from 9 a.m. till work is completed (schedule subject to change in future).
- Warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
- Lift 30 lbs. from overhead to floor and lift kegs (up to 165 lbs.)
- Be able to work full time.
- Have Warehouse experience -1 year
- Forklift and Electric Pallet Jack experience
