What are the responsibilities and job description for the Instructor position at Columbus Driving Academy?
Columbus Driving Academy has built our legacy by incorporating defensive driving techniques into our Instructor Training Programs. CDA is offering PAID TRAINING "as you train" for Driving Instructors and providing training for multiple classroom locations in the Reynoldsburg & Pickerington areas.
We are currently training full and part time behind-the-wheel ONLY Instructors. This does make a great part time around another career for extra money and helping the teens in your community be the most skillful and safest drivers.
Prior teaching or coaching experience is helpful, but not required!
WE will train YOU and license YOU to teach!!
Qualifications: Held a driver’s license for 5 years or more and can have only 1 ticket or less in the past 5 years!
Driving Instructor Job Description:
_____Teach behind-the-wheel lessons using the state required lesson plans we have created for you!
_____You will mainly be teaching teenagers and some adult students in the driver training vehicle.
_____Flexible schedule is set in advance using our 24/7 Student “SELF SCHEDULING” software. Students schedule their own appointments into your Instructor portal hours available.*** It is so easy to use! Cancellations and technology updates in real-time!
_____You can check for cancellations before leaving for the student’s appointment!
_____Electronically submit all state and company required documents.
_____Follow and adhere to all company policies and procedures and state records.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
