What are the responsibilities and job description for the Banquet Server & Attendant position at Columbus Hospitality Management?
Essential Functions :
Set up equipment and items in a timely fashion needed to execute a successful event. Typically includes setting up a buffet, food or drink station, setting tables, and preparing food and beverage service
Serves food and beverage to guests as specified in the Banquet Event Order, continually stocking and maintaining items to meet the demands of the guests while adhering to all BEO presentation standards
Anticipate and beware of guest needs before and during an event in order to provide high quality service and high guest satisfaction.
Continually refreshing the space, removing dirty dishes and trash to maintain cleanliness standards.
Tear down and clean up all equipment and items used during service and return to storage to be used for the next event.
Physical Requirements :
These physical demands represent the physical requirements necessary for an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of the position. Reasonable accommodation can be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the described essential functions of the position.
- Position requires standing during entire shift
- Position requires the ability to carry a banquet serving tray of at least 6 dinners with the end goal of 8 dinners.
Ability to lift, reach, bend, stoop, push and / or pull heavy workloads, exert up to 100 pounds of force and the ability to regularly lift 55 lbs.
