- Location: DeRomo’s – Bonita Springs, FL
- Pay: $15 to $17 per hour based on experience
- Schedule: Full-Time | Open Availability Required (Nights, weekends, and holidays—because seafood lovers shop year-round!)

- Be the Seafood Expert – Assist customers in choosing the best fish, shellfish, and seafood products.
- Keep the Display Fresh & Appealing – Stock, organize, and maintain a clean, visually appealing seafood case.
- Master Seafood Handling – Cut, weigh, package, and prep fresh seafood with precision.
- Maintain Food Safety & Sanitation Standards – Follow all FDA, HACCP, and health department guidelines.
- Support Daily Operations – Anticipate customer needs, restock products, and ensure smooth service.
- Engage with Customers – Offer cooking tips, recipe ideas, and expert seafood knowledge.
- Experience in Seafood, Meat, or Grocery Preferred – Not required, but a huge plus!
- Detail-Oriented & Precise – You know quality seafood and can spot the freshest fish.
- Fast, Efficient & Hardworking – You thrive in a fast-paced environment and keep up with demand.
- Customer-Focused & Friendly – You love helping people and providing excellent service.

- Must be at least 18 years old
- Authorized to work in the U.S. (We do not provide visa sponsorship)
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
- Non-slip shoes required (not company-provided)
- Open availability required, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Comfortable handling fresh & raw seafood
- Able to work in hot, warm, and cold environments
- Exposure to smoke and steam required
- Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus
- Endurance & Mobility – Be on your feet, moving fast, and handling high-energy shifts.
- Strength & Lifting – Must be able to carry, lift, and move seafood up to 50 lbs below, at, and above waist.
- Manual Dexterity – Handle knives, scales, and packaging tools with precision.
- Temperature Adaptability – Comfortable working in hot, warm, and cold environments.
- Cool, Wet Environment – Comfortable working around ice, water, and fresh seafood.
- Exposure to Smoke & Steam – Be able to work in areas where these conditions exist.
- Strong Sensory & Vision Skills – Use vision, smell, and touch to assess seafood freshness.
- Ability to Communicate – Speak clearly and effectively with customers and team members in a fast-paced setting.
