This role ensures consistent, engaging, and brand-aligned messaging across multiple channels, primarily focusing on email and SMS marketing and digital advertising.

Primary Responsibilities
- Take ownership of all email and SMS communications by managing audience lists, segmentation, lifecycle marketing campaigns, journeys, automations, and funnels to optimize engagement, conversions and drive revenue.
- Implement A/B testing to refine campaign elements, ensuring messaging aligns with brand goals and drives measurable results.
- Maintain compliance with privacy regulations across email databases and SMS communications (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, TCPA, CTIA) and coordinate appropriate updates for compliance in areas where first-party data is being collected.
- Analyze key performance indicators regularly, presenting data-driven insights and recommendations to leadership.
- Collaborate with the Director on sports, special event, hospitality and resort marketing, assisting in all areas of campaign development and execution to drive attendance, engagement, traffic, awareness or other notable outcomes.
- Support other departments by crafting messaging for compelling, brand-aligned collateral, ensuring materials resonate with potential clients and highlight the resort's unique offerings.
- Collaborate across social media teams to provide support with content writing for social, including advertising, to ensure consistency and alignment in messaging across platforms.
- Create compelling copy for advertising, promotional materials, and internal communications, and written content for digital and print channels to support sport and resort marketing initiatives.
- Write, proofread, and edit content according to AP Style and in-house style guides.
- Report regularly on email and campaign performance, presenting insights and recommendations for improvements to leadership.
- Assist with creating, updating and maintaining website content and copy and optimizing SEO for search engines, including managing and updating content and editorial calendars.
- Conduct analysis of competitor communications and marketing strategies, providing insights and recommendations to adjust strategies accordingly.
- Contribute to the ongoing refinement of marketing strategies by staying informed on hospitality industry and travel and tourism trends, as well as best practices in digital and email marketing.
- Assist with building and protecting brand reputation across all communication channels.
Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills, And Abilities
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines effectively and efficiently.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices, WordPress, and strong digital media skill set.
- At least two years professional background in marketing, media, content production or writing.
- BS in Communications, Marketing, English, or a comparable field.
- Previous experience with MailChimp, Medallia and Amadeus is preferred but not required.
