Essential Functions :
- Assist with Practice Planning : Collaborate with the Head Coach to develop and execute effective swim team practices, focusing on skill enhancement, technique refinement, and overall fitness.
- Support Athlete Development : Help and encourage swimmers in improving their individual and team performance.
- Assist with Skill Assessment : Aid in evaluating swimmers' abilities and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Team Support : Assist in managing various aspects of the swim team, including assisting with roster management, tracking attendance, and helping coordinate team events.
- Communication : Maintain open lines of communication with swimmers, parents, and fellow coaching staff to ensure everyone is informed about team activities, schedules, and any updates.
- Safety Oversight : Help ensure a safe and secure environment during practices and events by following and enforcing safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- Promote Motivation and Team Spirit : Contribute to fostering a positive and motivating atmosphere to enhance team spirit and sportsmanship.
- Assist with Meet Participation : Support the coordination and attendance of swim meets, providing coaching assistance during competitions as needed.
- Professional Development : Stay updated on current coaching techniques, training methods, and safety standards in competitive swimming.
