Deli Manager in Training

Job Summary

The Deli Department Manager-In-Training assists the Deli Department Manager with overseeing daily operations in the Deli Department. Duties primarily revolve around assisting the general management of the department employees, which include, but are not limited to, providing, and demonstrating task instructions, keeping attendance, and measuring key performance indicators. You will be expected to assist the Manager with keeping records and producing reports that will be used to review team performance.

The Deli Department Manager-In-Training needs to have excellent communication skills and a passion for excellence. Previous leadership experience is a plus.

• Previous leadership experience preferred.
• ServSafe Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.

Physical Requirements

· Standing, walking, sitting, lifting 75%

· Using hands to finger, handle, or feel, talking, hearing, tasting, smelling 12.5%.

· Reaching with hands and arms, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling 12.5%

Lifting Requirements

· Ability to lift the following pounds safely:

o Up to 10 pounds 25%

o Up to 25 pounds 25%

o Up to 50 pounds 25%

o Up to 100 pounds 25%

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
