Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate phone OB Triage/Liaison Nurse with Obstetrical experience to join our healthcare team and work closely with our physicians to provide exceptional patient care.
Duties:
- Ability to triage patients effectively through the patient portal and on the phone
- Perform nursing duties including NST's and blood draws on obstetrical patients.
- Assist with patient education by explaining procedures, medications, and treatment plans
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information.
Skills:
- Proficient in medication administration and dosage calculations
- Excellent patient service skills with the ability to provide compassionate care
- Knowledge of Athena EMR desired
- Knowledge of human anatomy and OB/Gyn medical terminology required
- Team player
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
