QUALIFICATIONS: An example of acceptable qualifications for this position: High school diploma or GED (required). Associate or bachelor’s degree in health sciences, exercise science, recreation, or a related field (preferred). Experience in facilitating fitness classes and/or wellness-related events. Strong knowledge of fitness, health, and wellness principles; or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: First Aid, CPR, and AED certification
Certification in personal training (e.g., ACE, NASM, or equivalent) or a relevant fitness certification preferred.
EQUIPMENT OPERATED: The following are examples only and are not intended to be all inclusive. Computer, computer software (e.g., Microsoft Office and other applicable computer software), mobile phone, fax machine, copier, scanner, telephone, and other standard modern office business equipment; fitness equipment.
Inherently Hazardous Or Physically Demanding Working Conditions
Employee has exposure to chemical compounds found in an office environment (e.g., toner, correction fluid, etc.); works in or around crowds; has contact with potentially violent or emotionally distraught persons; this is considered light work and the employee must demonstrate the ability to perform the physical demands required of the position in accordance with the U.S. Department of Labor’s physical demands strength ratings.
In cases of emergency, unpredictable situations, and/or department needs, may be required to lift, push, pull, and/or carry objects heavier than D.O.L. strength ratings recommend.

The Wellness Program Assistant will play a key role in supporting and expanding the corporate wellness program at our second office location, 3400 Morse Crossing. This full-time position will be responsible for delivering personal and small group training sessions, assisting with the development of wellness initiatives, and facilitating wellness-related events to promote a healthy and vibrant work culture. The ideal candidate will be passionate about health and wellness, possess strong interpersonal skills, and be proactive in bringing new ideas to the wellness program.

- Track participant progress and provide feedback to encourage continuous improvement.
- Wellness Program Support:
- Assist the Wellness Program Manager in developing and implementing wellness initiatives and strategies that align with the organization’s health goals.
- Provide input and ideas for new wellness programs or activities to enhance employee engagement and overall program impact.
- Monitor employee engagement and feedback to assess the effectiveness of wellness offerings and recommend adjustments as needed.
- Event Facilitation:
- Plan, organize, and facilitate wellness-related events such as health challenges, fitness workshops, nutrition seminars, and stress management sessions.
- Collaborate with other departments or teams to promote wellness initiatives and ensure maximum participation.
- Help to create and distribute promotional materials for wellness events, including flyers, emails, and social media posts.
- General Administration:
- Maintain attendance and participation records for fitness sessions and wellness events.
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating wellness activities across both office locations.
