Pay Rate: $22.50/hour
Work schedule: Variable including weekends and evenings.

Job Summary: Operate and maintains the building heating, cooling, ventilating, electrical, plumbing systems and structure in an efficient manner. Perform carpentry, painting, drywall repairs, snow removal and landscaping duties as required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conducts inspections and makes necessary repairs to roofs, exterior and interior structures, lighting and fixtures, hot and cold-water piping, lavatory fixtures and refrigeration.
- Perform maintenance duties under the supervision of Facilities Director for HVAC, electrical and plumbing equipment in order to assure reliable, efficient and long-term results.
- Perform general maintenance such as carpentry, painting, drywall repairs, snow removal and landscape duties as required.
- Travel between multiple local locations as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Proven knowledge of operations, maintenance and preventative maintenance programs for heating, cooling and ventilating, electrical, plumbing and general mechanical responsibilities as normally acquired through High School or Vocational School.
- Minimum three years related experience.

Physical Demands: To successfully perform the essential functions of this position, the staff member must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands to touch, handle or feel, raise hands and arms in reaching motion, talk and hear. May occasionally need to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, taste or smell. Staff member may frequently have to lift 25-50 lbs. Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus are necessary. Work Environment: The work environment is normally quiet with occasional moderate noise levels. Work may be required outside for extended periods of time in varying weather conditions (hot, cold, rain, ice & snow). The staff member may occasionally operate heavy equipment creating exposure vibration from a shaking object or surface. He/she will occasionally work in high, precarious places or near moving mechanical parts. This position requires exposure to possible electrical shock due to high voltage equipment or circuits. The staff member may have occasional exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals, fumes or airborne particles.
