Gift Shop Assistant Lead

What you need to know about the position:

• The hospital gift shop, located near the hospital's main entrance, sells unique gifts, boutique clothing/accessories and jewelry, baby and children's gifts, current holiday items, as well as a variety of candy, magazines and other miscellaneous items.
• The Gift Shop Assistant Lead position is responsible for the overall coordination and operation of the Gift Shop.
• The base hourly rate for this position is $18.09.  Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience and does include shift differentials and premium pay as applicable.  The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
• This part-time position will require you to work 24 hours weekly, Monday through Friday, for gift shop coverage and cart coverage, with occasional weekend cart coverage.

What is required for this position:

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or four years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
