What you need to know about this position:
- The Laboratory Registrar Specialist is a member of the laboratory team who is responsible for registration of patients with laboratory services; primarily outpatients and clients.
- The Laboratory Registrar Specialist is responsible for capturing insurance data.
- The Laboratory Registrar Specialist works closely with patients, physicians, physician office staff, nursing managers, nursing coordinators, insurance agencies and other departments.
- The Laboratory Registrar Specialist will pick up specimens from surrounding offices and deliver them back to the hospital. This will then be received in our system and then handled to the main laboratory for processing.
- The base hourly rate for this position is $16.00. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience and does include shift differentials and premium pay as applicable. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
- This full-time position will require you to work days, 11:30am-8:00pm, 40 hours a week; Monday through Friday.
