Columbus Regional Gastroenterology has an excellent full-time Day shift employment opportunity for a Licensed Physician Assistant or Licensed Nurse Practitioner.
The Opportunity:
• The role of our Nurse Practitioners is to provide comprehensive patient care by systemic assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. Care is provided in collaboration with physician and staff.
• The APP will work primarily in the outpatient setting providing medical management of gastroenterology conditions and readying patients referred for colonoscopy screening. There is an additional opportunity to provide limited inpatient rounding and consultation services. The APP will work collaboratively with the gastroenterologist in both the outpatient and inpatient setting.
· Full-Time 40hrs/week
· 8am-4:30pm 4 days/week and one half-day (half-day may be flexible)

Training Requirements for this position:
• Upon hire, you must have:
o Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
o Master's degree in nursing.
• One year experience is preferred.
• Upon 30 days of hire you must have:
o Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
• National certification as a Nurse Practitioner preferred.
• To be hired as a Physician Assistant:
o Graduate of an approved Physician Assistant Training program
o Unlimited Physician Assistant license from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board
