Job Title : Radiation Therapist
Department Name : Radiation Oncology
Facility Name : Columbus Regional Hospital
Delivers radiation treatments to patients in accordance with the prescription and instructions of the Radiation Oncologist.
Maintains accurate records of daily treatment delivery for each patient.
Performs daily quality control tests on each linear accelerator and simulator.
Job Requirements
Bachelor degree (B. S.) from four-year college or university; Associates degree (A.S.) from a two-year program; Certificate degree from one year program in Radiation Therapy Technology.
Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiation Therapy Technology.
Must maintain ARRT Certification.
Must maintain Radiation Therapist License in the state of Indiana (if not current needs to obtain within 30 days of hire).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
