**Job Overview**
Columbus Regional Healthcare System is seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Cardiac Specialist to join our medical imaging team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing cardiac ultrasound studies and other diagnostic tests to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac disorders.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct cardiac ultrasound studies using advanced technology and equipment.
- Develop and maintain a high level of expertise in cardiovascular imaging techniques.
Requirements:
- A degree in RRT, RN or LPN, or currently enrolled in an AMA-approved program in echocardiography.
- RDMS, RDCS, RCVT, or RCS eligibility or registration within 3 years of hire.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Ability to work under the supervision of a cardiologist or registered echocardiographer.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Registered RDMS, RCS, or RCVT credentials.
- Advanced coursework in cardiovascular peripheral diagnostics and vascular testing.
- Training in EEG, EKG, ABG, PFT, stress test, and IV skills.
