Columbus School for Girls seeks to hire an energetic and creative full-time Upper School Science Teacher to begin in the 2025-2026 academic year. Major Functions and Responsibilities :
- Implement curriculum and assessments for Upper School Science courses, including freshman-level biology, AP Biology, and Anatomy and Physiology.
- Collaborate with the Science department to ensure a cohesive, rich, and diverse science curriculum
- Provide timely and proactive communication with students, parents, and faculty advisors about student progress.
- Participate actively in the life of the school, including leading clubs and / or activities, supervising study halls, and possibly coaching.
- Participate actively in all faculty and staff meetings.
- Possibility of serving as a faculty advisor to a group of 8-12 students, providing them with academic, social, and emotional support.
