What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Practitioner - Behavioral Health position at Columbus Springs - Dublin?
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring nursing policies and procedures are followed and exemplary patient care is consistently delivered by yourself and all members of the team. You will also monitor patients for changes in condition and respond accordingly, up to and including notification of the physician.
Key Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing or relevant state licensure required
- Previous experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility, with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, and geriatric patients preferred
- Current unencumbered license to practice by the State Board of Nursing
- CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact
