About the Role
Columbus Springs East is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Professional Van Driver to join our team in Columbus, Ohio.
This is a full-time position that requires safe and timely transportation of patients from various locations to the Hospital campus or other designated locations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate daily logs of mileage and gasoline usage
- Submit gas receipts to the appropriate personnel
- Clean the interior of the vehicle regularly to ensure it is presentable for patient transport
- Maintain mileage records for routine maintenance scheduling
- Ensure patient safety and supervise them during transportation
Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent preferred
- Valid driver's license and favorable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) with proof of insurance
- CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment
- Experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, and geriatric patients preferred
- Minimum two years paid or volunteer professional driving experience
- At least one year experience in customer service
- One year experience driving 8-12 passenger vans professionally preferred
