Job Summary
The Admissions Coordinator of Communications and Marketing will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between the admissions department and the university's marketing and communications teams. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and analyzing integrated communication strategies aimed at enhancing prospective student engagement and driving new student enrollment. The coordinator will create and manage various forms of communication, including email, SMS, and social media campaigns, to reach and engage prospective students. Additionally, the role will oversee the use of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to streamline communication efforts, ensuring alignment with the university's strategic enrollment goals. The Admissions Coordinator will also analyze the effectiveness of these campaigns, utilizing data to optimize future outreach efforts.
Responsibilities
Significant Duties & Responsibilities include: Strategic Integration & Marketing Alignment - Develop and implement cohesive marketing and communication strategies that align with admissions recruitment goals, enhancing the university's ability to attract prospective students. Collaborate closely with the university's marketing and communications team to ensure consistency in messaging across all communication platforms, including email, social media, website, and print materials. Oversee the creation of engaging content for various media channels, ensuring that all marketing materials effectively promote the university's brand and recruitment initiatives.; CRM Implementation - Support the rollout, integration, and continuous improvement of the CRM system, ensuring its effective use within the admissions communication workflows. Train admissions staff on the functionality and features of the CRM communications, ensuring they are equipped to maximize its potential for prospective student engagement and recruitment. Leverage CRM analytics to monitor campaign effectiveness, track prospective student interactions, and enhance data-driven decision-making to refine future outreach strategies.; Prospective Student Engagement & Enrollment Growth - Develop and execute targeted communication strategies that guide prospective students through the admissions funnel, from initial interest to application completion. Manage automated email and SMS campaigns, ensuring timely and personalized communication to keep applicants engaged and informed throughout the admissions process. Monitor and analyze engagement metrics across various communication channels to refine outreach efforts, optimize messaging, and improve conversion rates.; Data-Driven Decision Making - Use marketing analytics and CRM data to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly. Generate detailed reports on campaign performance, enrollment trends, and engagement metrics to inform continuous improvement efforts. Conduct market research and stay informed about best practices in higher education admissions marketing to ensure that the university's strategies remain competitive and impactful.; Professional Development & Additional Responsibilities - Work independently, demonstrating initiative, creativity, and resourcefulness in executing communications strategies and managing projects. Attend professional conferences and events to pursue opportunities for professional development, staying current on trends and advancements in admissions marketing. Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by Leadership to support the department's overall goals and initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Required Qualifications include: 2 years of experience in admissions, marketing, communications, or CRM management.; Collaborative mindset with a commitment to teamwork and cross-departmental coordination.; Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications include: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Higher Education Administration, or a related field preferred.; Experience with TargetX or other CRM systems is highly preferred.
Proposed Salary
The proposed annualized salary range for this position is $40,253 - $43,784 and includes full benefits.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities include: Strong writing, editing, and communication skills with the ability to craft compelling messages for various audiences.; Knowledge of digital marketing strategies, including email marketing, social media, and web content management.; Ability to analyze data and translate insights into effective marketing strategies.; Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
