Job Summary
Monitor and supervise the pool facilities, enforcing policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce pool rules and policies.
- Keep aquatic and locker room facilities clean and organized.
- Know the aquatic facility emergency action plan, and how to engage it.
- Take daily stats and ensure all items on the health inspection sheet are satisfactory.
- Perform lifesaving duties when needed.
- Answer patron's questions and follow up on requests.
- Attend all scheduled meetings and in-services.
- Maintain a good level of physical fitness.
- Check the water and make corrective action to maintain appropriate water chemistry.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Currently certified as a lifeguard with a Nationally Recognized association and currently CPR & First Aid certified.
- Must be able to pass a swim test and have a good level of physical fitness.
- Must possess good oral and written communication skills, as well as quality people skills.
