Columbus Technical College is seeking an individual to serve as a Full-time Data Management Assistant in our Institutional Effectiveness Division. This individual will be responsible for assisting the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Research (OIER) in data base management, planning, assessment, and data analysis procedures in the day-to-day operations in support of continuous improvement processes. This position is full-time/non-exempt.

Responsibilities:
- Assists in the College’s institutional research activities, including collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and reporting information for use in data-driven decision making
- Maintains a central repository of research data and creates and maintains dashboards for various initiatives
- Assists in performing data analysis, interpreting results, preparing summaries and reports;
- Publishes data reports and maintains accurate accreditation information on the College’s webpage
- Assists in the design, development, and implementation of internal and external surveys and collects results of surveys and formats results for use in analysis and evaluation by the appropriate unit.
- Assists in maintaining records necessary for college accreditation and program-specific accreditation, licensure, and certification
- Maintains the Institutional Effectiveness calendar.
- Provides assistance to users of the college’s IE Software and institutional research needs.
- Works closely with the institutional accreditation liaison to the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC)
- Assist in database management
- Other duties as assigned.
- Skill in the operation of computers and job-related software programs (MS Office Suite).

- Associates degree in related area OR a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Three (3) years of related work experience
