We are currently seeking a Scientific Program Analyst to work onsite with the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD.

The US base salary for this full-time position is $35-43/hr benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.


Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
The NINDS Division of Neuroscience is seeking a Scientific Program Analyst to join the Neurogenetics cluster. The candidate will provide scientific and administrative support services to aid in the management of the Undiagnosed Diseases Network and NINDS's other human genetics and rare disease efforts.


• Researches and evaluates the operation of the organization's scientific programs.
• Researches, interprets and summarizes background materials from a variety of scientific sources.
• Compiles data and creates and prepares graphs, slides and presentations.
• Performs logistical planning of various scientific meetings, lectures, workshops.
• Plans, organizes and participates at a senior level in technical meetings and consultations.
• Reviews and evaluates the performance of the organization.
• Analyzes existing scientific programs and makes recommendations for improvement.
• Develops and prepares various scientific reports.
