The Columbus Zoo Family of Parks is dedicated to empowering people and saving wildlife. We are seeking a highly experienced Chief of Sustainability Operations to lead our conservation efforts.
This key leadership role will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to advance our mission, overseeing key programs, and collaborating with senior leadership, Board members, staff, and stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the strategic vision and operational framework for the CCWC.
- Cultivate a collaborative environment by nurturing existing partnerships and establishing new ones.
- Represent the organization at national and international meetings, conferences, and seminars.
Key Qualifications:
- Proven experience in advancing conservation and sustainability initiatives.
- At least ten years in a leadership role within a conservation-related field.
- Strong fiscal management skills and ability to cultivate funding through new donor relationships.
- Inspirational leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff, volunteers, and stakeholders.
