- Assisting full-time keepers in maintaining animal enclosures and participating in enrichment programs
- Designing and delivering educational programs about animal behavior, habitat, and conservation issues
- Maintaining area grounds and buildings, adhering to safety protocols, and performing other assigned duties

Additional tasks may involve:
- Observing training sessions to enhance understanding of training fundamentals
- Participating in the Pinniped enrichment program, including cleaning, placement, and removal of enrichment items
