Wildlife Conservation Leader
The Columbus Zoo Family of Parks is committed to making a difference in wildlife conservation and sustainability. We are seeking a highly experienced Wildlife Conservation Leader to join our team.
This key leadership role will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to advance our conservation efforts, overseeing key programs, and collaborating with senior leadership, Board members, staff, and stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the strategic vision and operational framework for the CCWC.
- Foster a culture of conservation across the organization.
- Partner with the Philanthropy Department and Board Conservation Committee to expand funding and build relationships with new donors.
- Identify and pursue funding opportunities for conservation programs.
Key Qualifications:
- Proven experience in advancing conservation and sustainability initiatives.
- At least ten years in a leadership role within a conservation-related field.
- Strong fiscal management skills and ability to cultivate funding through new donor relationships.
- Inspirational leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff, volunteers, and stakeholders.
