- Design and implement network infrastructure solutions that meet the organization's requirements, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather network requirements and provide technical expertise during the design and implementation phases.
- Configure and troubleshoot network hardware, software, and protocols, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewall configurations, access controls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
- Five years or equivalent experience, demonstrating a strong foundation in networking concepts and technologies.
- Proven field experience with hardware refreshes, switches, and firewalls, specifically with Cisco model 9300 switches, Cisco ASA firewalls, and Cisco firepower software modules.
- Enterprise-level working knowledge of IP networks, routing, switching, and network protocols.
- Extensive expertise with Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) mode firewalls, including migrations from ASA with firepower to FTD.
- Proficiency with Cisco Secure Firewall Management Center (FMC) management platform.
- Expert knowledge and implementation experience with security features and best practice configurations for Cisco FTD firewalls via FMC and Cisco Catalyst switches.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- CCNP certification preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
