What are the responsibilities and job description for the FACILITIES TECH APPRENTICE position at Colusa Casino Resort?
POSITION SUMMARY
Maintains overall integrity of the facility and outbuildings. Duties may include repair, maintenance or new construction involving plumbing, carpentry, electrical, mechanical, concrete, or HVAC equipment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Assist in set-up and clean-up before and after special events
Assist with minor repairs of the property
Assures quality guest service to patrons during scheduled shift.
Adheres to all company Policies and Procedures.
Communicates any observed departmental problems to supervisor.
Grounds maintenance activities.
Performs custodial duties.
Performs other related duties and responsibilities as required.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:
High School Graduate or GED.
TRAINING AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
6 months maintenance/grounds keeping experience preferred
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Computer skills
Adequate email skills to communicate with company management and complete work orders.
Certificates and licenses
Must possess a valid California Driver's License

Basic knowledge in the use of power tools required to effectively maintain the overall integrity of the facility and outbuildings.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND CONDITIONS:
Exposure for a smoke filled and noisy environment frequently. Works outdoors occasionally. May work weekends, shifts and holidays.
