What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tribal Patrol Liaison WMM position at Colusa Indian Community Council?
THE POSITION:
Responsible for patrolling Wintun Mini Mart. Must keep abreast of tribal rules and guidelines set forth by CICC. The incumbent is responsible for patrolling the property in order to prevent and discover crime and to enforce the protection of all individuals and assets on tribal lands.
The incumbent is expected to work in accordance with the mission, purpose, and values of the Colusa Indian Community Council.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
To perform this job successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable incumbents with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
- Patrol and report suspicious and/or unusual activities to the proper authorities.
- Create daily incident reports as needed, noting all unusual activity and/or employee behavior.
- Ensure signage is properly displayed and visible to public.
- Maintain the equipment of the Public Safety department as needed.
- Ensure incident information is shared with the proper agencies, departments, and individuals.
- Conduct business in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
- Produce organized and clear reports;
- Perform maintenance on all equipment used by the Patrolling Department;
- May perform other duties commensurate with the functions and level of the position.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience: One (1) year related experience and/or training
Licensing and Other Qualifications:
- Must be eighteen (18) years of age.
- Must possess a valid California Class C driver’s license.
- Must provide recent DMV printout, reflecting the last three (3) years.
- Must have the ability to get CPR, First Aid, and AED certification.
- Must have the ability a Guard Card.
Availability: Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.

ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:
- Ability to communicate well with the public;
- Basic PC knowledge;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Attention to detail and good organizational skills;
- Is knowledgeable with Tribal lands and properties;
- Dedicated hard worker with ability to report to work on a daily basis.
- Must pass initial drug screen and random drug test conducted thereafter;
- Maintain high confidentiality standards at all times. Must sign a confidentiality statement upon acceptance of employment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
