Join Colville, Inc. as a Mechanic and you will be working with a dynamic crew in the northern arctic landscape of Alaska. Our team specializes in the repair and maintenance of heavy-duty and light equipment. If you are safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and have a knack for exceptional service we want you on our team. You’ll be working onsite at our operations in Deadhorse, AK and living in our camp at Brooks Camp.

About the Team:
- You are joining a North Slope-based division within Colville and a team that works hard to support each other every day
- In the Shop you’ll meet and work with other Colville team members ranging from Semi-Tanker Trailer Mechanics, Oilers and Parts Specialists, all while living at Brooks Camp during your hitch

As a Mechanic you will:
- Safety First: Maintain a safe working environment and address unsafe conditions proactively.
- Hands on Repairs: Service and repair a variety of equipment including light and heavy-duty machines, tanks, filter pumps, and various camp components.
- Field Ready: Respond to on-site service calls with a customer-first attitude, ensuring quick and effective repairs.
- Detail Oriented: Perform pre-inspections, daily maintenance checks, and manage materials efficiently.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Solid background in diesel and heavy-duty equipment mechanics. An associate degree or apprenticeship in diesel technology is a plus.
- Certifications: National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification is preferred.
- Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and a commitment to safety.
- License: Valid Driver’s license is required: CDL preferred.
