Colwill Engineering, Inc. is looking for a highly motivated Electrical Superintendent in the Jacksonville, FL area to join our team.

What this Role will Do:
Is responsible for all the field employees on this project. He/she would be required to do a working estimate and take-off jointly with the Project Manager. He/she would layout the work for the Lead Person and be responsible (with the Project Manager) for having the material, tools/equipment, information, and employee requirements on the job-site in the proper place in a timely fashion (schedule/manloading charts). Take care of correspondence and forms required by the office, i.e., daily reports, time sheets, safety reports, accident reports, etc. Person would monitor the work being done, direct the crew and have the work scheduled according to the pace of the job and other trades. The Superintendent effectively utilizes management skills in directing foremen and crew along with coordinating crew activities within the scope of his/her duties.
You’ll be a great fit if you:
- Have prior project management experience running up to five million dollar projects.
- Understand and clearly communicate scope of projects to all
- Review contract scope, recognize and negotiate changes in scope and price throughout project.
- Coordinate with engineering (on design build projects) to produce designs that satisfy client needs and provide the most cost-effective
- Negotiate and author any applicable
- Conduct kick-off meetings (with minutes) with field operations manager and project superintendent to review scope, schedule, methods, and
- Assure timely delivery of materials to
- Preparation of schedule of values and billings to assure a positive cash position on all
- Accurate maintenance of budget sheets and monthly
- Attendance of all project meetings. Coordinate with Field Operations Manager to assure schedule attainment.
