Job Description
The campus Writing Center is a space for collaborative work between student tutors and writers. Writing Center Student Tutors will help writers with the writing process, from brainstorming to final edits.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with student writers to assist them with ideas, organization, and editing.
- Support student writers by reading and offering feedback on assignments and other writing pieces.
- Attend a tutor training before or after school.
- Become familiar with the mission and purpose of the Writing Center.
- Keep scheduled tutoring commitments.
- Communicate with the campus Writing Center Facilitator regarding Writing Center concerns.
