Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Saw Operator to join our dynamic team. As a Saw Operator, you will play a crucial role in the production line, contributing to the overall efficiency and quality of our products.
Duties
- Operate and maintain various types of saws, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Perform accurate measurements and cuts based on specifications provided in technical drawings.
- Fabricate components as required, utilizing mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Assemble parts and components following established guidelines and standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to quality control measures.
- Utilize basic math skills for precise calculations related to cutting dimensions and material requirements.
- Engage with other machines such as stamping presses, electrical discharge machining (EDM), laser cutting equipment, and CNC machinery as needed.
- Follow GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles to ensure accuracy in production.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Saw Operator or in a similar manufacturing role is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various machinery safely and effectively.
- Familiarity with fabrication techniques and assembly processes.
- Basic math skills for measurement and calculations are essential.
- Experience with stamping press, electrical discharge machining, laser cutting, CNC operations, or welding is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
