What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Based Nurse (RN or LPN) - LCHC Comanche position at Comanche County Hospital Authority?
DEFINITION:
Coordinates total nursing care for patients from a school based practice. This is a seasonal positon with a schedule based on the school systems schedule. Checks vitals, preforms testing, and administers injections and medications per provider orders and established protocols. Communicates with patients, providers, and school officials to insure the best care and coordination while ensuring patient privacy. Provide care to a population including, children, adolescents, adults.
REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS (IF APPLICABLE):
Authorized to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse in the State of Oklahoma.
