Job Title : Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse
Job Specialty : Medical-Surgical
Job Duration : 13 Weeks
Shift : 12 Hour Days (36 Hour Guarantee)
Guaranteed Hours : 36
Experience : At least 1 year of experience required
License : State License or Compact License Required
Certifications : BLS (AHA), NIH, ACLS (Preferred)
Must-Have : Recent traveler experience (highly preferred), candidates must be able to work some holidays during the assignment
Job Description :
- Develop and implement total nursing care for patients through assessment, nursing diagnosis, and patient care plans.
- Provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel.
- Maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.
- Develop systems to provide care to a diverse patient population including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
- Must be able to obtain NIH certification if not already certified.
- Profile requirements include work history, skills checklist pertinent to the specialty, and two supervisory reference forms taken within the last two years.
- Consideration for local candidates is available at a reduced rate.
