DEFINITION:
The Team Lead performs all of the general duties required of an Admissions Representative which includes but is not limited to (1) obtaining required information for the admission of patients, ensuring (2) that all patients are greeted in a courteous and prompt manner. (3) all financial information is obtained and entered correctly and (4) all patient information is protected as confidential. In addition to admissions duties the Team Lead acts as the focal point for answering questions and assisting the admissions staff with day-to-day problems/operations. The Team Lead assist the Supervisor, helping to resolve scheduling and staffing issues that occur as a result of unscheduled staff absences and assist with reports. The Lead also acts as a stand in for the Admissions Supervisor in their absence. The Team Lead will take call and staff in as necessary.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Two or more years of office administration experience, preferably in a medical setting
Good customer, interpersonal and communication skills.
Organization and time-management skills, attention to details, and ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to work with others in a team environment in fast paced environment and to work on multiple projects at the same time
High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED)
