Certification Details BLS ACLS NIHSS Job Details Provides critical care to seriously ill patients in a hospital's intensive care unit, monitoring their vital signs, administering medications, performing complex procedures, and responding rapidly to medical emergencies, all while collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Staffing ICU 2 : 1 with the rare 3 : 1. We do float to ED to take holds and we will sometimes take medsurge patients 5 : 1. Job Requirements 1 year ICU experience - Required Schedule Information Travelers will expect about 6 hours worth of modules to complete prior to start. Orientation - Nursing Travelers start orientation on Thursdays. Unit Specific Information Multipliers - No increased rate for OT, Holiday, and Call-Back Call Policy - On Call paid out at $2 per hour with 1 Hour Minimum Local Policy - Applicants within 50 miles of Comanche County will be considered for a placement at 11% less the travel rate.
