Job description
- Process inventory adjustment transactions in the ERP system for the consumption of parts used in building, augmenting, or repairing company assets.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with the Production Manager and Purchasing Manager to ensure adequate / optimal levels of inventory are maintained.
- Prepare sales quotes for new customer orders.
- Coordinate and organize parts and the ERP system for new projects related to building company equipment or assets.
- Communicate with Field Operations personnel to ensure complete and accurate transaction processing of requested parts.
- Complete cycle-counting activities including ERP entry of results per schedule. Assist in development of inventory counting procedures.
- Perform general physical and ERP goods movements as required, including evaluation of bin locations and assignments. Update bin information as needed, including appropriate labeling of bins when changes are made in the ERP.
- Pack and ship customers orders with the assistance of the Purchasing Manager. Communicate with Accounting to ensure proper billing and cost of goods sold transactions.
- Maintain and engage in the promotion of a safe work environment.
- Evaluate, update, and correct the ERP parts list to improve accuracy and efficiency, including all assemblies and sub-assemblies.
- Maintain work orders in the ERP system and ensure they are closed according to the proper timing and with correct information.
