SCOPE OF POSITION:
The GSR Supervisor is responsible for the efficient operation of all the machine department's ongoing performance and financial performance and operating procedures for Comanche Nation Entertainment. The GSR Supervisor’s performance is necessary for the casino to reach its full potential in providing a superior entertainment experience for its guests.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following are major duties and are not intended to be all-inclusive or restrictive.
- Coordinates and communicates the policies and procedures to the GSR personnel.
- Analyzes slot machines by machine type, denomination, and location for profitability and provides reports to Slot Manager.
- Makes recommendations concerning preventative maintenance to slot products in an effort to decrease equipment with the slot department.
- Maintains awareness of floor activities.
- Assists with jackpot payouts and refund claims as necessary.
- Works with vendors and maintains confidentiality.
- Attends and satisfactorily completes all training as assigned by the General Manager.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS:
The following are major supervisory duties and are not intended to be all inclusive or restrictive.
- Monitors the performance of GSR employees, ensuring adherence to Casino policies and procedures.
- Handles problems or grievances (employees/guests) as soon as the need arises within the slot department. Capable of making critical decisions. Must follow prescribed chain of command.
- Responsibilities include training employees; planning; assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees.
- Fosters and maintains a positive attitude towards the staff, management, and guests.
- Completes scheduling to cover all company needs.
- Responsible for covering extra shifts when scheduled employees are absent.
- Answers beverage questions posed by guests.
- Maintains knowledge of beverage menu and any special items being offered.
- Observes guests and anticipates beverage needs and completes all steps of service as assigned.
- Provides quick, attentive, friendly and professional service to casino guests while communicating in a clear and concise manner.
- Accurately records all sales in the POS.
- Ensures the quality and the presentation meets or exceeds the expectations of the guest.
- Ensures cleanliness of the beverage area.
- Complies with all alcohol awareness and service policies and procedures with regards to alcohol service.
- Ensures and collects appropriate payment for beverage service.
PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
The GSR Supervisor regularly communicates and exchanges information with coworkers and guests. The GSR Supervisor is required to remain stationary and/or move about the casino floor more than 50 percent of their shift. The GSR Supervisor must be able to position one’s self to inspect, troubleshoot, fix, and maintain gaming machines. The GSR Supervisor occasionally moves gaming machines and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. or more. Work is performed throughout all areas of the facility where the noise level varies from quiet to loud depending upon business. The GSR Supervisor must be able and willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays and in a smoke-filled environment.
The GSR Supervisor may be exposed to the risks associated in attempting to resolve issues with difficult guests and staff members.

Qualifications
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Possess a High School Diploma or equivalency to include Home School Certificate.
- Accelerated knowledge of aspects of slot department operations is preferable.
- Prior working experience in a casino environment as a supervisor or above is preferable.
- At least one (1) year of slot experience is preferable.
