SCOPE OF POSITION:
The Receiving Clerk is responsible for the receiving, documentation, and distribution of all items delivered to their property and the physical and digital counts of all pilferable and/or controlled items. Additionally, they analyze inventory records, assist department's team members with inventory-related questions or concerns, manage processes for disposal of items, and assist in devising ways to reduce inaccurate inventory reporting and theft.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following are major duties and are not intended to be all-inclusive or restrictive.
- Ability to read, understand, and decipher invoices, receive reports, and purchase orders.
- Track incoming and outgoing products.
- Timely and complete preparation and distribution of receiving documentation package for each receipt.
- Maintains custody and accountability for items until they are transferred to and accepted by the department that ordered the items.
- Fully responsible for the uniform inventory program, including assisting purchasing with procurement, issues, and receiving uniform items.
- Provide inventory control reports as required.
- Maintain count accuracy (digital and physical counting)
- Work closely with other Accounting departments ensuring timely flow of information.
- Assist with monthly reconciliation and annual Fixed Asset inventories.
- Assist departments in the disposal process of obsolete inventory and Fixed Assets as directed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
Shifts vary depending on current workloads and fiscal year assignments. A standard 40-hour workweek applies-physical labor such as lifting and walking is required regularly. The Receiving Clerk must be able to lift, push and pull 50 lbs. or more frequently throughout the shift.
The Receiving Clerk regularly communicates and exchanges information with department supervisors and managers. The Receiving Clerk will periodically be required to stand for 50% or more of their shift. Work is performed throughout all areas of the facility where there may be flashing lights, and the noise levels vary from quiet to loud depending on the time of day, the specific location, and the amount of business. The Receiving Clerk must be able to work in a smoke-filled environment. The Receiving Cler may be exposed to the risks associated with physical labor.

Qualifications
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Possess a High School Diploma or equivalency to include Home School Certificate
- One (1) year of casino experience is preferred.
