                                                                                                                         Customer Experience Specialist 

The Customer Experience Specialist is responsible for being the first point of contact for internal and external customers.  Handles customer inquiries, processing orders, sales quotes, and returns in both written and verbal context.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ownership of the customer experience by providing excellent customer service including prompt responses to inquiries and resolution to problems to internal and external customers.
  • Responsible but not limited to processing customer purchase orders, sales quotes, samples, data entry, sharing of product knowledge, issuance of credits and return requests.
  • Assist customers with inquiries, requests and handle customer escalations to positive resolution.
  • Customer quoting responsibility including follow-up on SalesForce projects, new business, maintenance and other sales opportunities.
  • Support commercial team by providing quotes, follow up to inquiries, processing sample requests. Participate in customer visits and tours of Coma, LLC facilities.
  • Demonstrate great team mentality with a genuine willingness to help others.
  • High sense of urgency coupled with the ability to remain flexible and creative within a dynamic environment and deliver on commitments and deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word and Power Point.
  • Robust interpersonal skills and proven relationship-building ability.
  • Participate as needed in meetings that pertain to Customer Experience.
  • Provide support to Team Leads and/or Director of Customer Experience as needed.

Education and or Experience

Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 1-year related experience in a manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to speak, read and comprehend the English language.

Proficient in interpreting instructions, correspondence and business documents (purchase orders etc).  Ability to write effectively, present information in a cohesive, coherent and grammatically correct manner. 

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.  Proficient in computing ratios, percent's and drawing and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.   Ability to understand problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situation.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear.  The employee frequently is required to walk and occasionally required to stand; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.  The employee must occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
