MAINTENANCE MANAGER
PRIMARY PURPOSE
Oversee and manage the plant maintenance, machine maintenance, and preventative maintenance program utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) system. Track adherence to and effectiveness of the maintenance system and make Improvements to remove any inefficiencies or cost deterrents. Use the data within the CMMS to develop and justify cost saving opportunities and improve equipment performance. Identify, source and work with outside vendors. Comply with Environmental / Safety Equipment / facility requirements and regulations. Develop and drive Continuous Improvement projects (TPI3) to bolster the maintenance system and personnel. Lead, motivate, mentor and direct activities of maintenance staff.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES : Other duties may be assigned.
- Manage the record keeping with in the CMMS system for all service and maintenance performed on the machinery.
- Coordinates with production on the job setups and scheduling of down times for repair and maintenance of equipment.
- Establish and maintain an effective parts system.
- Manage the Installation, preventive maintenance and repair of production, facility, and support equipment.
- Build and manager key metrics around but not limited to mean time between failures, wrench time, labor efficiency and PM effectiveness.
- Provide hands on leadership and team support when needed.
- Insure the regular and preventative maintenance on production and support equipment is performed in a timely and effective manner.
- Develop quality of work audits to Insure work performed meets COMAR expectations of quality.
- Give guidance and direction to the team when needed.
- Ensure Maintenance team is properly trained on their job duties and proper use of the CMMS system.
