Beginning August 2025, Compass Montessori Junior High in Traverse City, MI, is hiring a full time adolescent guide for 7th and 8th grade.

Our newly remodeled campus is situated in the heart of downtown, along the lakeshore of Grand Traverse Bay. Compass is part of The Children’s House Independent Montessori School, established in 1984, with 260 students from Nido through 8th grade.

Preferred applicants will have teaching experience with adolescents, specializing in history, algebra and science. They should enjoy designing and implementing interdisciplinary workshop-based and experiential learning opportunities in a small, collaborative school community.
