JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of program and project objectives ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals. Assures sales and profit goals are achieved on their programs. Promotes and demands safety and highest levels of quality within areas of responsibility. Meets external and internal commitments; demonstrates and expects accountability across their teams. Coordinates internal and external resources to ensure execution of programs and projects within timelines and budget. Holds delegated cross-functional authority, including production, purchasing, and scheduling to make customer commitments, assign tasks, and direct the means for completing the commitments and assignments. Communicates status of projects both internally and externally. Supports CTS/ComAV Leadership and Business Development in planning and executing CTS growth strategies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Work in a safe manner, including ensuring we have no injuries to people or damage to customer or company assets
- Planning and scheduling of projects from inception to completion with sufficient detail to fully understand and communicate tasks, materials, equipment and support required to complete assigned programs
- Supports bidding and proposals for new work to include planning, high level scheduling, estimating and reviewing effort. Supports internal approval processes to include briefings to company leadership as well as negotiations
- Plans, coordinates and acquires all resources, to include personnel, materials, services, and ground support equipment, whether internal, procured, subcontracted, customer-furnished or otherwise to meet obligations to customers and leadership
- Customer request/additional service request bid and proposal preparation, including ensuring that customers approve all over and above work in advance and pay for that work
- Issue, monitor and maintain customer provided work plans/packages.
- Perform weekly audits of the completed and pending storage tasks to ensure the customers airframe and/or engine storage programs maintain compliance.
- Carefully track budgets vs. actuals on projects to ensure that projects are brought in under budget
- Assist with manpower planning
- Understand and fulfill all customer contractual obligations to include invoicing and data/documentation deliveries
- Create and maintain reports and other data to management; including mastering Corridor, Excel, and other computer programs as needed to complete your job duties effectively
- Planning projects well in advance so that all non-labor items (tooling, parts, materials, services, etc.) are arranged well in advance and do not delay the completion of the project
- Conduct scheduled meetings with and provide reports to the customers to assure clear and transparent communication of project status, requirements, and concerns

Qualifications
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- BS in technical field or management or equivalent experience
- 15 Years technical (A&P, engineer, technician, maintenance supervisor, etc.) aviation experience
- 5 Years aerospace engineering, maintenance or logistics experience
- 5 Years Program Management Experience
- Responsible for large and/or technically complex programs that represent the most risk to the company
- Responsible for a group or collection of programs or business area representing a significant portion of the company business
- Uses Microsoft Office and Project
