Responsibilities
- Perform general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Conduct cash flow analysis to support financial planning and decision-making.
- Engage in technical accounting tasks including journal entries and adjustments.
- Support financial analysis efforts by providing data and insights as needed.
- Maintain double entry bookkeeping practices to uphold accurate records.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations regularly to identify discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the finance team on corporate accounting projects.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk or similar role with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
- Knowledge of GAAP standards and practices is essential.
- Experience with general ledger reconciliation and balance sheet management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform cash flow analysis effectively.
- Familiarity with technical accounting processes and financial reporting requirements.
- Proficient in double entry bookkeeping methods.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills for managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Experience in corporate accounting is a plus but not mandatory.
