Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic, inquisitive, confident and reliable Legal Secretary to join our dynamic white-collar crime practice. This is a full-time, on-site position where you can hone and expand your skills in a collegial atmosphere.
Duties
- Provide administrative support to attorneys and paralegals with their work as needed.
- Produce information by transcribing, inputting, formatting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text, data, and graphics to assist in case preparation.
- Proofread and review documents to ensure accuracy and quality of work product.
- Maintain attorney calendars, including planning and scheduling meetings and travel, monitoring and recording court appearance dates, and filing deadlines.
- Maintain filing and retrieval systems.
- Oversee and manage office supply inventory.
- Communicate effectively with clients to gather information and provide updates on case status.
- Maintain highest level of confidentiality and provide outstanding customer service to clients and contacts.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an administrative role within a legal environment.
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Well-qualified in MS Office Suite programs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- High level of attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Integrity and discretion.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
