Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients with warmth and professionalism.
- Coordinate patient flow from check-in to discharge while communicating with clinical staff.
- Manage appointments, verify insurance, and maintain accurate records in our EMR system.
- Respond promptly to phone calls and emails, provide clear instructions, and manage incoming paperwork.
- Keep the waiting area tidy and stocked with resources.
- Maintain effective scheduling and support the clinic’s day-to-day flow.
- Enforce financial policies and accurately collect/process payments based on insurance guidelines.
- Ensure patient privacy by adhering to all HIPAA regulations.
- Confidently use computers, phones, email, scanners, and fax machines.
- Perform additional administrative tasks as needed to support clinic operations.
Qualifications
- Positive, professional attitude with a commitment to exceptional patient service.
- Excellent attention to detail and verbal/written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment.
- Minimum 2 years of customer service experience (required).
- Prior medical front desk or scheduling experience is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with EMR systems and healthcare documentation is a plus.
- Reliable transportation and ability to work in person (required).
Work Schedule
- Monday – Thursday: Clinic hours are 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Friday: Clinic closes at 5:00 PM
- Shifts:Two (2) opening shifts: 6:45 AM – 3:45 PM (with a 1-hour lunch)Two (2) closing shifts: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (with a 1-hour lunch) Friday shifts alternate between opening and closing.
- No nights or weekends.
