Responsibilities:
- Checking work orders, properly selecting processed material checking for weight, alloy, size, and quality.
- Set up die in punch press
- Operate punch press to stamp material.
- Inspect material during processing to ensure proper quality is maintained.
- Run material according to the specifications of the work order.
- Check blanks - free of burrs, scratches, coil set, and good appearance.
- Properly identify all slit material and complete all documentation.
- May require the repair of minor mechanical problems.
- Group completed circles together by work order in designated areas, and package boxes.
- Maintain the work area cleanly and neatly.
- Math aptitude/setup calculations testing
- Accurately record piece count, set up time, and run time
- Train new operators as required.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds
- Familiarity with reading drawings
- Proficient in reading micrometers
