Job Summary:
A Facility Maintenance Technician will perform maintenance at all or our area company facilities. This includes, but is not limited to, equipment cleaning, painting, bulb replacement, furniture moves, light plumbing, carpentry and general upkeep at facilities. The technician will be dispatched in a company provided vehicle from location to location to complete maintenance assessment and service. They will be required to do basic maintenance of company grounds, especially salt distribution and some snow shoveling on sidewalks in the winter. They will deliver and restock supplies between locations and return to their reporting location at the end of each day. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage daily building operations and address maintenance needs as they arise.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections of the building, ensuring all areas are in good condition and meet safety standards.
- Assist in employee workspace configuration and relocations.
- Inventory, order & maintain maintenance parts stock (e.g. bulbs, air filters, cleaning supplies, etc.)
- Handle minor repairs, including plumbing, electrical, painting and HVAC system maintenance.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff, addressing issues such as leaks, broken fixtures, or equipment malfunctions.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of events and meetings held within the building.
- Maintain and repair building systems, including lighting, heating, cooling, and plumbing.
- Ensure that all maintenance tools and equipment are in good working condition.
- Assist with general grounds maintenance (snow removal, landscaping, etc.) as required.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance work, including repairs, materials used, and time spent.
- Maintain compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with contractors and vendors for major repairs or projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must have the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple service requests
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Previous experience in building maintenance or a related field is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general construction skills.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle maintenance issues in a timely manner.
- Good communication skills and the ability to interact with staff and external contractors.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures and regulations in a maintenance environment.
- Must pass a background check and have a valid driver’s license.
- Authorized to work in the United States
Working Conditions:
- Ability to work in a variety of environmental conditions, including working outdoors for groundskeeping tasks.
- Availability for occasional on-call or emergency maintenance needs.
